How a Round Actually Works

The dealer then deals two cards face up to each player position in use and sets up their own hand. At this point you can see your total and the dealer’s upcard.

From there you choose how to play the hand. Ask for a hit if you want another card. Indicate stand to keep your current total. If your first two cards total 9, 10 or 11 and there are no Aces, you may double down by placing an extra bet up to the size of the original and receiving one additional card. When both starting cards show the same point value, you may split by matching your first wager and playing each card as a separate hand.
